John Lewis Turner, jr. of Washington, Va. was best man, and groomsmen were Peter Earnest of Front Royal, Charles Vanr» Hollingsworth and Clayton Graham Coleman, Jr. both of Lynchburg, John George Cargill, Jr. of Fairfax, Carlton William King and Robert Robinson Cosby, both of Richmond, David Darius Miller Jr. of Radford and Charles Anderson Weaver of Blacksburg.
After the ceremony a reception was given by the bride’s mother at Stonewall Jackson Hotel.
For their short wedding trip the bride changed to a cherry colored two-piece wool suit with a small white hat and patent leather accessories.
