Spring has sprung, The grass has riz The ground is covered with snow. The robins sneeze, The apple buds freeze, The north wind puts on a show.
The jonquils bloom In the wintry gloom. The lilacs beginning to blush. The kids are out playing Laughing and sleighing, The garden peas peep thru the I slush. Last week in the breeze We went in shirt sleeves To the cleaners, our winter coats
sent. Thought spring had broke But twas only a joke For it wasn’t even badly bent.
