Wins Scholarship
It hfls just been announced from the State 4-H Club Office that Harrison Powers, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Power., of Flint Hill, has won a $15.00 scholarship to “Short Coarse” *f camp. This scholarship is made possible by the Chilean Nitrate, Educational Bureau, Inc. as a result of Harrison

This Ls the first year Harrison has submitted any record for a State or District Award, and he •is to be congratulated. Harrison first became a club member in 1954 and since that timp has increased his garden project from less than a half an acre to anj acre in 1958. Besides his garden project, Harrison has completed projects in livestock, crops, electric, poultry and forestry. Most recently, he is one of the 4-H’ers who received pine seedlings thus spring and has planted 1100 seedlings tjo date.
