Clubs Hostess For
District VIII Meeting
Rappahannock County Home Demonstration Clubs were hostess for the Annual Meeting of 'District ViI'II of the Federation Home Demonstration Clubs, held Tuesday, April 1th at the Virginia Gentleman Restaurant in Front Royal.
The theme of the meeting was "New Horizons In IHomemaking.” I Mrs. Barbara Gentry, District Chairman, presided over the meeting and Mrs. Wallace Critzer gave the welcome for the county. 1
During the business session Mrs. Elizabeth Powers gave some of the accomplishments of the clubs of Rappahannock and Mrs. Virginia Saunders presented the Pennies for Friendship for the county which was $15 this year.
Mrs. Paul Nichols accompanied by Rev. John Adams led the group singing.
