Two out-of-the-county 4-H events were held last week with Walter B. Kilby, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kilby, participating in both events. The Annual Junior Premium Stock Show and 45ale was held last Monday and Tuesday in Richmond and Walter B. entered his 820 pound baby beef which graded choice and sold for 32c a pound to B. Brower & Son, a local meat packer.
Last Friday afternoon the District 4-H Tractor Operator’s Contest' was held in Culpeper and Walter B. representing Rappahat*nock.County, placed fourth out of seven counties participating. The top three boys had entered this contest in previous years and this was Walter B.’s first try. He certainly
