I went to the preliminary hearing for James Champ Friday. One of Ruth Dearing’s daughters age 7 was being questioned, but before Judge Miller began the questioning he asked the child if she knew what truth meant. She replied “Jesus”. He then asked if she knew what it meant to tell a story. “Yes, Fire House”, she said. Guess there are all kinds of names for the place we hope not to go to in the hereafter.
Don’t forget to bring as many articles as possible as soon as possible for the reopening of the rummage sales sponsored by !the Ladies Auxiliary to the Fire Cb. on May 1st at 9 aan. They will remain open only for the month of May and are eager to h|ve as much as possible on display ofl opening day.
