Delegates Attend
Camp Last Week
Miss Bonnie Brown and Miss Judy Sisk represented the local chaper FjH.A., while Frank Jarvis, Bobby Williams, Thomas Williams and William Settle, accompanied by C. B. Palmer, local F.F.A. Advisor, represented the Rappahannock Chapter F.F.A. at the. F.F.A - F.'H.A. summer camp located at Morgart’s Beach, Smithfield, Virginia. All sections of the State were represented by campers which contributed largely to an enjoyable and broadening experience for those present.
There were times when the campers wished that other sections of the State had gotten some of the tain that fell, but due to excellent indoor facilities every one was able to keep occupied in spite of the rainy weather.
The organized program included such things as a Fashion Show for F.H.A. girls, wearing garments that they had made in class, a Talent Show, individual as well as team athletics contest and a trip, to Williamsburg and “The Common Glory’’. Each evening program was climaxed by a period of dancing and The Grand March to the flag pole for final vesper service.*'” rr r
