On the other hand there arc certain federal services to agriculture which have established their value in the eye-, of the farmers. In some of these, the pressure on the taxpayer is eased through the collection of fees from those using the services, as in the case of grading of meats. When l«ng-standing, and wanted, procedures of this kind suddenly are proposed for abandonment, at the behest of groups which may not have to use or pay for them, the small farmers of our part of the country are moved to W'onder again at the apparent determination of their government to do tf r ,1 in.
