Annual Four-State
Farmers Meeting
County Agent W. H. Lyne yesterday announced the program topics for the 10th annual Four-State Farmers meeting, scheduled for Friday, January 22 at Franklin Court Auditorium in Hagerstown, Md.
The central theme of the meeting will be farm marketing, and Mr. Lyne revealed that several other topics of vital interest to area farmers are included on the program.
Topics for the day will include: “Job Opportunities in Agriculture”; “How Farmers Can Improve Present Systems of Marketing”; “Vertical Integration”; and “Management Practices of High Income Fanners As Compared To Practices used By Low Income Farmers.”
Sure to be a lively topic on the program wilt be a panel discussion on “Shall It Be Large Or Small
