compassion, magnetic, and Man finds himself drowning in that gaze.

Man blinks and, as the scene shifts, he studies Jesus mouth. The Hps are tender, sensitive and the voice issuing from them is deep, compelling, “Come unto me—and I will give you rest.” The tone changes and is heavy with grievance, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings and ye would not.”

Man is fascinated by His hands. They are graceful, reassuring. They touch and heal the blind, the leper...even the dead!

Presently the hands are pierced by heaVy spikes, driven brutally through the flesh and He feels it all in muted agony. Man next sees His hands as symbols, held out to an unbelieving Thomas, “Reach, behold my hands; and be not faithless, but believe. Because thou hast believed, blessed are they that have not seen, yet have believed.”

Man’s eyes drop tor Jesus feet, tired, aching, carrying Him along the dusty roads of Galilee. Now, as (He dines with the Pharasees, a young woman washes His feet with her tears, wipes them with her hair and anionts His feet with costly ointment. Because she is a sinner, a Pharasee disapproves, but Jesus answers, “Her sins which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much.”
