Schooling Course Now
Open For Race Training
The course for the Rappahannock Races on the Thornton Hill Farm of J. W. Fletcher is now ready for schooling according to Mr. Oliver Durant, Chairman of the Race Committee.
The course may be used for schooling through Thursday, March 3rd. The Point-to-Point Rades will be held March 5th.
Short Hike Planned
For Sunday February 28th
A hike for members of the Rappahannock Hiking Club and any one wishing to join them, Sunday, February 28. Hikers will meet at the Courthouse in Washington, Va. at 1:30 p.m. This will be a short hike so lunch will not be necessary.
Miss Nini Laing Leaves
For Visit To Ireland
Miss Nini Laing, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Laing of Amissville, left last week for Ireland where she will be the guest of Capt and Mrs. C. W. K. Crawford and Mrs. Robert Scott of Ballina. Miss Laing will also sp^nd some time in France and travel on the continent, returning to her home here the end of May.
