Mrs. Betsy Lewis
Mrs. Betsy Lewis, a resident of Sperryville, Va., died at her home Friday, February 19th.
Mrs. I>ewis is survived by her husband Charlie C. Lewis; five daughters, Mae E., Virginia G., and Betsy A. Lewis of Washington, I). C\, Harriet E. and Anna M. Lewis of Sperryville, Va.; six sons, Charles B. and James T. Lewis of Washington. D. C., Andrew Lewis of Aexandria, Richaid 1^., Thomas C. and Henry F. step-sister, Mrs. I,ottic Aylor of Sperryville; three brothers, Clayton Matthews of Front Royal, Teddy Matthews of Castleton, Va. and James Matthews of Culpeper, Va. and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted from the 11'>pewelI Baptist Church on Monday at 2 p.m with Rev. J. J. Jackson officiating. Interment was in the faYhily section of the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were George Ficklin, Johnny Strother, James Seals, John Edward Strother, James West and Charles Williams, Sr.
