Hunters And Hounds (Continued fr^tr front Page) ing all the three-rail fences with out hesitation. Third is little Joe Nelson. Ths was his first pumping hunt. After one wind-deflating fall, he went on to take several three-foot fences and one that was a g<x)d ? foot 6 inches. He may have hobbled a bit, but he came through each one on top and smiling and trying to follow hounds.
After this chilly morning and good, though brief, run. we were welcomed into the hospitable house of the Elzy Browns, where we were treated to a variety of delicious and warming dishes, and a generally jolly time.
The last scheduled hunt of the season will take place next Saturday, February 27, at Piedmont, the farm of Mr. and Mrs. N. K. G. Tholand.
Remember March 5 The Rappahannock P o i n t-to-P o i n t Races. Ten races. Food and drink and fun. A food stand on the grounds will sell drinks sandwiches, etc.
Horses are entering form Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia.
