LANDS BIG FISH—What it believed to be the largest fish of its kind caught in Warren County this year was landed by T. Morgan Johnston of Washington, Va. Sunday at Cairo. The fish, a SmallMouth Black Bass, weighed four pounds six ounces and was 20 inches in length. Mr. Johnston caught his prixe in the South Fork of the Shenandoah River using a madtom as bait. This catch now puts Mr. Johnston in the lead in a contest being sponsored by Bills Sporting Goods Store in Front Royal, according to Bill Coffman, the proprietor. —Photo courtesy Northern Virginia Daily
