.Mr. Allen Johnson has kept me advised of the progress that your community has made toward assisting us in establishing a manufacturing facility in the Rappahannock County area. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your interest individually and of vour community collectively. As you may know we are presently building a plant in Culpeper and a headquarters plant in Woodstock. In light of these projects we are not in a position to go ahead immediately with the location of a plant in your area.
I particularly would point out that we do expect to build at least one more plant in Virginia and current thinking in the company is that Rappahannock County affords an excellent location. Under our present time table this would be done in approximately twelve months; however, it conceivably might be done in a shorter period. Of course factors may arise either in your community, or in our operation, that would necessitate a change in these. plans but we do not envision such at this time.
All of us have certainly been impressed by your area and we are anxiously looking forward to working with you in the very near future, and consequently we will keep you advised of our development program. Thank you again for your help, cooperation and continued interest.
