The next meeting of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Washington Fire Company and Rescue Squad will be held September 5 at 730 p.m. It is hoped they will have a full membership meeting as well as interested guests.
At this time they are planning their fall rummage sale, which is their main project to raise funds for the Rescue Squad and Fire Company. The people of Hampton District have cooperated with the other districts by attending their carnivals and donating in various ways. If you are not interested in the items the auxiliary has for sale they would appreciate your donations on the new Olson Oriental rug that will be given away early in the fall. The rug will be on display during the rummage sale over the fire house. The sales will start September 8 and run through October 1st, all day Friday and Saturday of each week.
