Garden Club Meets
With Mrs. Turner
The Rappahannock Garden Club held its regular monthly meeting at the home pf Mrs. Lewis J. Turner in'Washihgton, Va. on Wednesday, August 17th with fifteen members present.
After the business meeting, Miss l>elia Gentry of Flint Hill, gave a . very interesting account of her experiences in Denmark, illustrated by colored slides. Miss Gentry has just returned, after spending the past year studying public health at the University of Copenhagen, on a Fullbright Scholarship.
Refreshments were served following the program.
Exhibits, which consisted of sprigs or fruit of unusual trees, included Japanese Rain Tree, Larch and Alanthus. >«o awards yvere given.
