Mrs. Anna L. Brown

-Mrs. Anna Laura Brown of Culpeper died Thursday morning, October 20 at t*'“ residence of her daughter, Mrs. William A. Dulaney in Woodville, following a long period of declining health. She was 81.

Daughter of the late George Brown and Lucy Jenkins, his wife, she was a native of Rappahannock County. She was a member of Piedmont Regular Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Ellis P. Brown; another daughter, Mrs. John W. Dodson of Culpeper; two sons, Wilton F. Brown of Culpeper and William H. Brown of Petersburg; a brother, Atha L. Brown of Sperryville; and five grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Saturday, October 22. from the Geest Funeral Chapel, with interment in Fair view Cemetery. Rev. B. Gayle Titchenell pastor of Woodville Baptist Church, conducted the last rites, assisted by the Rev. Darrold Phillips, pastor of Culpeper Free Methodist Church.

Pallbearers were Henry Brown, Ndson Nethers, Robert Nethers, Clifton Nethers, Floyd Brown and Chester Way land, all nephews.
