Garden Club Meets With Mrs. Goddard
The Rappahannock Garden Club held its regular monthly meeting at the home of Mrs. E. V. Goddard near 13 -ten, on Wednesday, C^i.ibtr 19th. After the busim a meeting. Mr, C. E. Johnson, Jr. led an i rfo.mai discussion on fall planting *or early spring bloom.
First award or a composition of chrysanthemum.- and autumn leaves was given to Mrs. C. B. Johnson. Second award went to Mrs. Goddard.
ACCIDENTS Continued jron: paye one rear fender in an attempt to pass the Lillard vehicle.
Damage was estimated at $130. No injury resulted.
Monday. October 24 at 5 p.m. about three miles east of Sperryville on Route 211 a 1953 Chevrolet sedan owned and operated by Brown Patterson was struck in the rear by a 1956 Ford driven by May Kussell Kinsey when the Patterson car slowed ^to make a right turn Vito Pine Knot Inn.
According to Trooper John lawman $250 damage was done to the two vehicles.
