Mrs. Annie Gore Bruce who was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bruce during the holidays, spent Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Johnson. Mrs. Bruce has returned to foe home of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Blankenbaker in Madison before leaving for a visit with Mr. and'Mrs. Russell Swindler in
guests during Christmas Mrs. Betty White and Benny Brown of Winchester, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Payne of Arlington, Strother Brown, of New York and" Pvt. 'Julian Brown. Guests Sunday night in the Brown home were Charles Hines and Tony Good with whom Pvt. Brown returned Monday to Fort Gordon, Ga.
