Raymond Johnson, Chief Forest Warden of Rappahannock County, was presented a 15-year service award when all personnel of the Virginia Division of Forestry met last week at Augusta Military Academy. The meeting was held from June 12 through 15.
Those attending the meeting had the opportunity to hear lectures by Roy Olsen, United States Forest Service, Chester Phelps, Virginia Game and Inland Fisheries, Marion M. Sutherland, chairman of the Department of Conservation and Economic Development and many other talented speakers, including George W. Dean, State Forester.
