The Sperryville Tigers will play the Front Royal Bombs Saturday, June 24th at 2 p. m. (EST) at Horse Shoe Inn. Left hander Richard Slaughter, for die Tigers, will go against Front Royal. Sunday, June 25, the Tigers will play the Monarchs on their diamond at Pine Knot Inn. Charles Williams for, the Tigers will go against the Monarchs. Immediately following the game Saturday at Horse Shoe Inn, the team will sponsor a shootoing match. A live pig, turkeys and hens will be given as prizes. 12 and 16 guage guns only. J
On Sunday, June 18th die game between the Tigers and Louisa was won by the Tigers with a score of 17-8. Roy Jackson was the winning pitcher. The score between the Tigers and Luray was tied 9-9.
