Mr. Seaman Elected
To Apple Institute
Larry Seaman of Clarkfeke, Mich., chairman of the Michigan State Apple Commission, has been elected president of the National Anple Institute of Washington, D. C.. which represents the apple growers of America, it was announced today.
Mr. Seaman, who succeeds E. M. Jones of Washington, Va., and other Institute officers were elected for one-year terms. They are: William H. Darrow, Jr. of Putney. Vt., re-elected vice president ; Marion Johnson of Williamson. Y., treasurer, and William M. Lott of Gardners, Pa., re-elected secretary.
Those elected as members-atIarge of the Institute’s executive committee are Howard Baker of Ransomville, N. Y.j Jerome Schoff of Romeo, Mich, and Mr. Jones.
