Mrs. Edgar Hawkins spent Father’s Day in Front Royal as the guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Bennett, who were celebrating their 56th wedding anniversary. During the day all of the Bennett children called on their parents and many grandchildren and friends came to pay their respects. The Bennetts lived for many years in Rappahannock County.
