Marine Pvt. Robert B. Freeman, son of Mrs. Alice . Porter of Route 1, Washington, Va., completed recruit training at the Mrrine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S. C., September 21.
The 12-week training course includes drill, bayonet training, physical conditioning and other military subjects.
Recruits spend three weeks on the rifle range firing the M-l rifle arid other basic marine weapons.
Graduates report to Camp Lejune, N. C. for combat infantry training.
