plan as proposed bjrth*.Northern Virginia Power Company.

The plan was explained by C. R. Suddith, technical sales representative, and Sidney Thompson, local representative for Northern Virginia Power. S They prepared individual maps and coat sheets for each council member, showing existing street lights and proposed changes. ’<

After thorough perusal and three hours consideration, the council decided to replace the 1000L fixtures wth 2500L along U.S. Rte. 211 and at each street corner and entrance to the town. H The difference in the light bill will be roughly $13 per month and the changes should be coin| pleted by January 1st. ^

Residents of the Town should contact their Council member aa to changes before the January meeting on Tuesday, January 8, which will be the last opportunity for adjustments. Street lighting has been considered as over all improvement and uniformity and not on the basis of lighting individual property. The Council hopes this will bo A considered when adjustments are sought, according to Mrs. Dorothy Davis, major. & |
