Thanksgiving guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor were Miss Joan Aylor, Buddy Aylor and Miss Lois Egger of Arlington, Miss Derry Robedee of Flint Hill, Edward B. Cary of Washington, and Mr. and Mrs. Xavier Anzmann of Baltimore. Friday guests in the Aylor home were Floyd Frazier and sons, Dave and Jeff, of Elkton. Late in the week-end Mrs. Aylor while visiting her sister-in-law, Mrs. Myrtle Jenkins in. Winchester was taken ill and is now reported somewhat improved at her home.
Pfc. and Mrs. Ronnie Jacobs were over-night guests Friday of Mrs. Jacob’s parents, Mr. and Mr»- Fred Schaefer. Saturday they attended a wedding in Warrenton and visited Mr. Jacobs’ patents, leaving Sunday for Ft. Meade, Maryland.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown, their house guests Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown and son of Hamilton, and Mr. and Mrs. P, Lee Thornton spent Thanksgiving at Fork Union with the Rev. and Mrs. Paul Thompson. They were joined there by P. Lee Thornton, III, and Mr. and Mrs. Rodes Brown, Jr., and family of Staunton and the group attended the 6MA-FUMA fotball game.
Miss Peachy Lyne of Washington, D.C., and David Lyne of Wood berry Forest spent the holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne.
Guests on Thanksgiving Day of Mr. and Mrs. J. Earl Wayland were Mrs. Cloyd Hall, Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Wayland, and Mr. and Mrs. Julian Wayland of Arlington. Mrs. Wayland is able to be in a wheel chair while recuperating from a broken ankle.
Manly Bruce, a student at Potomac State College in Keyser, West Va., spent the holiday week-end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bruce at Jackson Hill.
Miss Ruth Menefee had as her guests at the Thanksgiving Day Dinner at the Lee Highway Hotel Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Mathews and daughter of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. John R. Hudson and family of Luray.
