Miss Carol Cobert of Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg is expected home on Friday to spend the weekend with her parents Mr. and Mrs, Arthur T, Cobert. Sunday guests of Mrs. Hazel Barfield and Miss Alice Hitt were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Barfield and family of Berryville and the Rev. Paul Davis, Jr., of Lignum. Mr. Davis stopped by after preaching two regular Sunday services and conducting funeral service for Paul J. Spitzer at the Etlan Methodist Church. Mrs. Betty Powers spent Monday and Tuesday in Richmond this week to attend additional meetings of the Telephone Company. Mr. and Mrs. James Minnis of Culpeper have been spending the past week with Mr. and Mrs. Waver Kennedy. Mr. Minnis, who left Culpeper Memorial Hospital February 7 fallowing surgery, is much better.
