Did you know that the world’s first astronaut was a Chinese scholar by the name of Wan Ho? Or that the first liquid rocket was launched in Ameri ca in 1926 and that English might well be the most important subject a future scientist or engineer should master? Information of this sort will be revealed when the NASA Spacemobile arrives at Rappa^ hannock County High School to present a space science demonstration on Monday Feb ruary 22. The Spacemobile itself is actually a panel truck of conventional size. It does not, as the word implies, travel out in space. What makes it different from other vehicles is its cargo. The Spacemobile is filled with scale models of rockets and satellites, mechanical and electronic equipment. One can see models of Tiros Syncom, Alouette, Ranger, and the OSO. A look into the future is afforded with the models of Nimbus, OAO, OGO, Surveyor, Gemini, and Apollo.
