Attend Workshop
Those attending the Jaycee Work Conference at Old Point Comfort during the past weekend were Netus H. Brown of Sperryville and George Davis III, Washington. The function of the work conference was to make Jaycees throughout the state aware of the need for greater activity in civic improvements. Forums, guest speakers, materials and booklets, were provided to carry out this purpose. On Friday, February 2b, the Rappahannock Jaycees will hold a banquet honoring the winners of the DSA and Key Man Award. The DSA, or Distinguished Service Award, will honor the person between 21 and 35 years of age who has made the greatest contributions to Rappahannock County during the past year. A three man panel consisting of Judge R. V. Snead, Sarah Latham, and Bill Lyne will choose the winner. The Jaycee who has made the greatest cornribution to the local chapter during the past year will receive the Key Man Award.
