On October 26 there will be a workshop on the making of various floral arrangements in Winchester, sponsored by the Frederick County Extension Service. I understand that several types of arrangements will be demonstrated and explained in the morning session with a special feature being the presentation, by a homemaker recently returned from Japan, on the art of the Japanese arrangement. In the afternoon, the participants will have a chance to demonstrate what they have learned as they break into workshop groups. I do plan to attend the meeting a nd will ha ve room for several more to go if anyone is interested.

Attention 4-H’ers" Any 4-H members who still have project records from last year’s workout, please get these in to the extension office as soon as possible. Projects need to be judged and awards ordered now for our 1967 Achievement Program.

For those of you who are home sewers you will be interested in knowing that beginning with the January 1968
