Sunday on Route 211 a half mile east of Sperryvillea 1963 Chevrolet operated by George Ronald Ames of Silver Springi Md. slowed to make a turn into a roadside fruit stand. It was struck in the rear by a-54 Chevrolet opera ted by 11 e n r y Hoover Jackson of Sperryville Jackson was charged with reckless driving said Trooper J. B. Willis. Damage to the Ames car was estimated at $200 and the 54 Chevrolet was declareda total loss. Ann G. Martin of Silver Spring sustained a head injury and was taken to Culpeper Memorial Hospital by Rappahannock Rescue Squad. A minor collision occurred in front of the post office in Washington on Route 211 Saturday night. John Horace Mak lory of Amissville, operating a 64 Chevrolet, had slowed down when he was struck in the rear by a 64 Chevrolet operated by Franklin Delano Brown of Sperryville. There were no injuries and no charges were made, according to Trooper W. A. Buntin. Dam age was set at $150 to the Mallory car and $100 to Brown’s.
