Johnson Cousins Meet
Mr. and Mrs. fjenry Clay Johnson of Coneojdti, Galifornia were guests over the week end of Mr. and Mrs. G. f. Johnson, Jr. It is interesting to note that John Richard Johnson, father of ffenry Clay Johnson, and Dr. G. E. Johnson, father of C. E. Johnson, Jr. were brothers. John Johnson went west in 1888 and on to California in I894ancfnever returned to his native Virginia. His family heard nothing from him, but several years ago Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Jr. while on a trip to California traced the family and hence a reunion for' the Johnson cousins.
H. B. Wood, another cousin, took the Johnsons on a tour of Red Oak Mountain where the femily home is located.

James Henry Shackelford
James Henry Shackelford, 49, of Montpelier f arm near Woodville, died Sunday, Oct. 15 at his residence. He was a native oi Rappahannock County, the son of Stuart Raple> Shackelford of Woodville and the late Ruth Dulint-y Shackelford.
Except for his father, he leaves no immediate survivors.
