Washington and Flint Hill Firemen responded to a house fire in Washington Monday afternoon. This house, owned by Mrs. B. M. Miller, and occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Tom Platt and family, had estimated damage of over $2,000 following a fire in an upstairs bedroom. One of the children, a 5-year-old boy, said he had been playing with matches in the bed while his mother slept ift a bedroom on the lower floor.
