Skyline Ski Area at Washington, Va. is scheduled to open the season on Saturday, December 16. The facility has been leased to the Washington, D. C. Ski Club by the Skyline Ski Corporation. The area will be open on weekends only.'

The Madison Livestock Map ket, Inc. at Madison Mills reports that its 1967 fall feeder calf sales exceeded in dollar volume that of the previous year. Records show sales totaled $618,662.48 for 4,505 head as compared to a total sales of $529,012.80 in 1966. In addition an all-Charolais Sale, the first State graded Charolais sale in Virginia held at the Market September 27 saw 485 heau change hands for $72,198.44.

$575,735 in Fiscal ’67
The Farmers Home Admin istration made emergency loans in Virginia totaling $575,735 during the fiscal year 1967 to help farmers recover from natural disasters, FHA state director E. C. Compton announced recently.
