Growers were urged today :o file their applications for 1967 marketing year payments under <lhe National Wool Act it the earliest possible date out at least by the end of January. The applications cover marketings of wool and lambs iuring the calendar year 1967 or which all sales details were completed not later than December 31. H. S. Barksdale, Chairman, Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation County Committee, explains that the payments □n wool sold during 1967 represent the percentage necessary to bring the national aver age price received by growers up to the previously announced incentive level under the wool legislation.
