Mrs. L. J. Turner with her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. William S. Dewhirst of Richmond spent from Friday until.Wednesday during the holidays with her son and daughter-in-law Dr. and Mrs. John Turner and family in Norwich, Vt. On New Year's Eve Mrs. Turner entertained at dinner for Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Jones, Miss Becky Jones, Miss Segar Jones, Ned Moffett Jones, Mrs. T. C. Lea, Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr. and Miss Emma Lee Lindsey of Front Royal Mrs. T. C. Lea returned home Tuesday after spending Christmas with her sonin-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. John Cargill and family, in Bedford. The Cargill family came and spent the remainder of the holidays witl^Mrs. Lea and Judge and Mrs. T. C.*Lea. Miss Becky Jones spent the Christmas holidays with her parents, returning to Lynchburg for a few days 4nd spent the New Year weekend at her Delamore home. Mrs. Henry M. Keyser and sister Mrs. F. B. Jocobsen spent from Friday until Tuesday of the Christmas weekend with Mr. and Mrs. H. Magruder Keyser and family in Fairfax. On Tuesday they left for W illiamsburgand were guests for several days of Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Nightengale and were dinner guests Thursday of Dr. and Mrs. A. R. Armstrong.

Mrs. Elmo D. Flynt returned Saturday ater a ten day visit with the Rev. and Mrs. R. A. Watson at Charlotte-Amalte, St. Thomas, U. S. Virgin Islands. Major and Mrs. J. S. Willis, Jr. and two children Michelle and Jimmie of the U. S. Military Academy, West Point, N. Y. were guests from Wednesday until Sunday of Mrs. Willis’ parents Mr. and Mrs. W. Arthur Miller at Mt. Prospect. The Willis’ spent Christmas with' General and Mrs. James S. Willis in Macon Ga. Miss Diane Brown spent Christmas with her parents at Denton, Md. Her sister Miss Bonnie Brown returned for several days visit and they both returned to Denton for the New\Year’s weekend. Miss ^ariorr®unlach also spent the
