Dear Mrs. Latham:
For the past two months I have noticed the county trash receptacles in Flint Hill and Sperryville overflowing with their contents.
We all know that trash breeds rats and with them, disease. Maybe soon a heavy snow will come and cover the mess, then, at least, we won't have to be ashamed during the winter.
Maybe, by springtime the people responsible for keeping the containers empty will have come around.

4-H Club Report
The girls seventh grade 4-H Club met at Rappahannock County Elementary School on December 11. We played charades and sang “My Country Tis of Thee”. Our project this year is clothing. At this meeting we studied lines in clothing and learned what a big difference they make in what you wear.
