In Psalms 50:10 we find these words “Every beast of the forest is mine, the cattle on a thousand hills.”
We find no argument with that statement, we will concede that all the world, all the hills, all the flora and fauna that occupy those hills belong to God.
I’ve probably seen at least a million cattle on more than a thousand hills. It is a thrilling sight, especially when they are grazing on the skyline. Yes, everything has its value in the scheme of things, more or less, according to situations and the manifestation of individual things.
Let’s look at the other side of the coin. Those very cattle you admired on the hill in the afternoon can seem like demons from the nether regions at night. You top a ridge and there in your headlights are cows on your side of the road - will your brakes hold, will they come further out into the road.
God is good. Won’t you to whom He has intrusted cows be good and keep them off the highways, PLEASE. The next family might not be as lucky.
