Mrs. Monia Dodson
Mrs. Monia Olive Dodson, 87, died Wednesday morning, December 17 in a Fredericksburg nursing home. She was the widow of the late William Boot Dodson of Rappahannock, and the daughter of the late James Berry and Lindsey Brown Berry. Survivors include three sons, James A. and Charles B. Dodson, both of Sperryville and Woodrow Wilson Dodson of Cottage City, Md.; two daughters, Mrs. Elmer Bowling and Mrs. Viola D. Brown, both of Fredericksburg; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Hunter Dodson of Woodville and a sister, Mrs. John Dodson of Edinburg. A graveside funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Sperryville Cemetery with the Rev. John Hodge officiating. Pallbearers will be Gene and Frankie Michael, Edward and 3alvin Dodson, Vernon and Silbert Berry, Elmer Clark and Ueorge Bennett. Clore Funeral Home, Culpeper, s in charge of arrangements.
