Many fast horses from last Saturday’s Casanova Races will compete in Rappahannock’s Mardn 7 Point-to-point, on James W. Fletcher’s challenging mountain course, 1 mile south of Sperryville, Va., on Route 522.

This 21st gunning of the Rappahannock Races is the second event in the Virginia Point-to-Point Circuit. “Two important races on the Rappahannock Card,” says Edward Haggerty, Race Chairman, “the Mt. Salem for Ladies and the Ben Venue for Gentlemen owner-riders are to be run for points to count toward best lady rider and best gentleman owner-rider of the 1970 Virginia Point-to-Point season.”
