Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne bad as their guests for dinner at theii home Locust Shade, Lt. Col. and Mrs. Hugh Exton of Fort Meyer and Amissville and Col. V. John Lyle. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Payne and son Billy were visitors of E. A. Wickline in Vienna.

Mrs. Ethel Cooksey was a visitor Thursday of Mis. Annie Latham at Sunset Haven Nursing Home, Grifflnsburg and Mrs. Clarence Cooke of Viewtown who was a patient from Thursday until Monday at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Mis. Cooksey was accompanied by Mis. G. H. Dennis and Miss Landra Dennis. Mr. and Mrs. D. G. Laing spent Monday at their home Bunree Farm after returning from a trip of several days to Miami, Fla.
