TAXES are in the spotlight with two and a half weeks remaining in the 1972 session.
The Governor has proposed increases in individual and corporate income taxes and a number of other » proposals have been made, including a package of taxes suggested by the Lieutenant Governor that is supposed to benefit the “little man” and yet this package is supposed to reduce taxes and at the same time increase tax receipts of the state government. 1 am doubtful about this kind of magic.
