though the resolutions caused a lot of debate, the vote was heavily in favor of both resolutions. The margin was 84-14.
Many other subjects are up for legislation, including a bill to give a widow one-third of the real estate of her husband, if he left no will, instead of a onethird interest for life as is now the case.
I am in favor of this legislation, bu t legally it cannot have any effect upon the estates of persons who died before the legislation was passed by the Legislature.
