FOUR single-vehicle traffic crashes and one involving a parked car have been reported by Trooper W. A. Buntin. A two-vehicle collision was investigated by Trooper G. F. Gregory.

May 17 on Route 522 near Boston at 3:45 p.m. a ’72 Plymouth operated by Ronald Lee Pullen ofSperryville struck a bank on thfe left of the road after swerving to miss a dog. Damage to the car was estimated at $200.

At 2:45 a.m. May 19 on Route 642 near Amissville James Russell Riley lost control of his ’62 Ford, ran off the left of the road and overturned. The vehicle was declared a total loss and Riley was cited for reckless driving. He escaped injury.

The same morning at 8:15 on the Washington bypass a ’67 Volkswagen driven by Sidney Harris of Attleboro, Mass, skidded on gravel and hit the island. Damage to his car was estimated at $150. No charges resulted.

ACCORDING to Patricia Ann Dinkins of Culpeper, a. dog ran in front of her and in an attempt to avoid striking the animal she struck the bank. Damage to the car, a ’67 Buick was estimated at $500. This crash occurred on Route
