Art show and sale

AN ART SHOW AND SALE will be held in Washington, Va. on Wednesday, July 4 in conjunction with the annual Flea Market sponsored by Rappahannock Library. ,' Exhibitors will be allowed a maximum of two entries in the regular art show and an entry fee of $1 will be charged adults for each entry. For 12-16 year olds entering work, a fee of 50 cents will be levied for each entry, and there will be no charge for entries of children under 1^ All pictures except those of children must be framed and ready to hang. Ribbons will be awarded in four categories; oil and acryllics, water colors and pastels, drawings and paintings of Rappahannock County. A ribbon will also be awarded for best in show. Pictures may be priced for sale and a commission of 10% will be charged for any picture sold. There will also be a Bargain Art Sale where no pictures will be priced in excess of $50. There will be no limit on entries and no chhrge except the 10% commission on all sales. For application blanks write Mrs. Margery Albright, Washington, Va. 22747 before June 15.
