Later the same day two vehicles collided when they met on a sharp curve on a narrow road, Route 647 east of Flint Hill. No injuries were sustained and no charges were made.
Involved in the collision were Macel Frame Robinson of Flint Hill operating a 71 Oldsmobile station wagon and a 66 Chevrolet pickup driven by Roy Wood Thomas of Sperryville. When Thomas applied his brakes he skidded into the Robinson vehicle and damage to the station wagon was estimated at $500. Damage to the Thomas truck was set at $250.
