Last Sunday Mr. and Mrs. C.R. Hall of Falls Church entertained with a birthday dinner for Earle Wayland at their cottage on the Shenandoah River. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Wayland, Jr. of Arlington were recent overnight guest of the Waylands and Thursday overnight guests were Mrs. E.W. Gore and Mrs. Maury Brown. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Wayland, Mrs. Gore and Mrs. Brown attended “Open House” at the Orange Nursing Home and visited Bob Brown who is a patient there.
Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Lyne were guests for dinner Friday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawton Blankenbaker at Haywood, hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Beauclerk Coleman of Culpeper. Mrs. Lyne and Mrs. Hal Forward were luncheon guest at Graves Lodge Friday. Monday, Mr. and Mrs. Armistead Coleman of Seattle, Wash, and Beauclerk Coleman of Culpeper were luncheon guests of Mrs. Lyne’s at Big Meadows Lodge.
Houseguests of the Rev. and Mrs. Ronald Wiley and family are Mrs. Wiley’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Wical of Fargo, N. D.
