E.L. Mozingo
A funeral service for Ernest Linwood Mozingo of Amissville was held Saturday, October 6, at Geest Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. David Brown. Burial was in Amissville Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Mozingo, 84, a retired farmer and postmaster, died October 4, 1973 at the Butler boarding home in Culpeper after a long illness. He was a native of Rappahannock County, son of the late Sidney and Betty Settle Mozingo.
He served as postmaster at Korea, Va. for about. 15 years, prior to the closing of that office. He was a member of Forest Grove Baptist Church at Viewtown.
Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Flaurie Deal; a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Street of Vienna and one grandson, James Street of Vienna; two brothers, the Rev. B.L. Mozingo of Roanoke and S.W. Mozingo
