Students from Rappahannock County Elementary School participated in a two-county track meet Tuesday in Front Royal. Warren County schools, A. S. Rhodes, E. Wilson Morrison, Bentonville, Otterburn and Fifteenth Street and the Rappahannock school competed in the track meet sponsored for the past three years by the SCA. Out of 72 possible blue ribbons, Rappahannock students took 42. The next closest team had 17 firsts. Rappahannock placed in 64 of the 72 events. Teachers, coaches and children all worked hard to produce these excellent results and Jerry Campbell worked faithfully coaching the final entrants.
